Passengers who arrive at the Sacramento International Airport on Tuesday captured with Tasers after refusing to go through security checks again to take items left on the plane, The Sacramento Bee reports.
People were taken to a local hospital for evaluation, a spokeswoman for Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputy Jason Ramos told the newspaper.
Passengers exited the aircraft at about 1: 30 PM, Ramos said, and leave the secure area of the airport on his way to baggage claim. He then reportedly tried to return to the security checkpoint, and the Transportation Security Administration agents said that he has forgotten items.
TSA agents not allowed to re-enter areas safe but instead directed him to get permission in the ticket counter, Ramos said. Passengers reported back to the security checkpoint with permission but refused to let his bag is played, and the argument ensued.
The argument escalated into a physical altercation, Ramos said, pushing close to Deputy to use Tasers on the male several times.
