On Friday, the Supreme Court issued a decision that blocks federal court ruling that is lower in the Texas redistricting case is important. The Supreme Court, in a decision that was unsigned, argues that the Court did not properly subject to low to the State legislature.

In this example, the Supreme Court missed an opportunity to get away from the principle of deference to the legislature of the State, especially when the intention is so obviously designed to reduce the political participation of minorities.

This is wrong. The Federal Court does not have to submit to the State legislature in this decision.

For example, in Baker v. Carr (1962) with the right of the Supreme Court ruled that redistricting is a justiciable issue-which means the courts have no right to intervene and decide reapportionment cases.
